CHARITY COMMISSION GUIDANCE
When planning our activities for the year and for the future the PCC have considered the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit and supplementary guidance on charities for the advancement of religion. In particular we try to enable ordinary people to live out their faith as part of our parish community through worship and prayer; learning about the Gospel; developing their knowledge and trust in Jesus. We provide pastoral care for people living in the parish and we focus our direction on mission and outreach.
The Parochial Church Council of Toddington is a charity for the purposes of the Charities act 2011.
SAFEGUARDING
The PCC recognise their duty to comply with the requirements of the Church of England Safeguarding Code of Conduct and the ‘Safeguarding Learning and Development Framework’ published in August 2024.
